The story behind la Dolce Italia
Our story begins with Nonna Anna, an incredible woman whose love for baking was rivaled only by her devotion to family. She grew up in small family in southern Italy, Where she learned the craft of baking from her grandmother.
The smells of freshly baked bread, warm pastries and bubbling sauces filled the air of her childhood home and those early lessons became the foundation of what we call now la Dolce Italia.
When Nonna Anna moved in UK, she brought her recipes with her, knowing that the heart of Italy could live on through food. After many years of baking for family and friends, our bakery was born-a place where anyone can experience the true flavours of Italy, passed down through generations.
